LARC’s antennas at the station are due for maintenance and it looks like the weather Friday will be perfect.  Gary WA5TED and Brandon K5BEK will be at the club house this Friday at 5:00 p.m. to get them back in order.  Anyone who can make it would be an asset.

We have several issues to deal with and the more help we have the faster we can knock it all out.  Our fan dipole will have to come down, be cleaned, looked over, and raised back into position.  We could also check over the UHF/VHF  antenna as is appears to be leaning.

Bob WA5VSK operating in a CW contest

Those of you who are new to amateur radio should  come out and take advantage of the opportunity to play around and learn.

On another note, Bob WA5VSK will be at the club house this weekend for the Sweepstakes CW contest.  Anyone interested in CW or contesting is welcome to come out.  Stay warm out there!
