Terry Bajuk KS5Z is planning an antenna party on Saturday May 16th at 1:00PM.  We will be meeting at his QTH to raise a new HF antenna.  His plan is to use a scissor lift to do the tower prep and then the final positioning on the tower.  A crew of at least 6-7 people will be needed to move the antenna into position and raise it.  Anyone who would like to help with this antenna please email Terry directly.  His email is KS5Z@ARRL.net.  Any and all volunteers are appreciated as it may be helpful to have a few extra hands on standby.

The antenna is a JK 6BA.  6 bands plus 6M with 2 elements on each band with coverage 40M to 6M but not 30M.  The boom is 22′ and the antenna weighs about 135 lbs.  You will need to bring your own personal safety equipment such as masks, gloves, hardhats, etc.  The address is 109 N Pontiac and the closest cross street is 1st and Milwaukee.

Thanks and hope to see on May 16th.
